About Udzungwa Mountains
Rainforest on foot
South-central Tanzania, south-west of Mikumi
The Udzungwa Mountains rise abruptly from the plains of southern Tanzania — a rainforest park with no game-drive roads, explored on foot along waterfall trails alive with endemic primates and birds.
Part of the Eastern Arc ‘Galapagos of Africa’, its forest flourishes with species found nowhere else, and every trail holds something new to discover.
